Remembrance Day Ringing of the Bells – 10:30am
November 11 @ 10:30 am - 11:00 am
The Royal Canadian Legion, as part of marking 100 years since the Armistice that ended WW1, is asking all Canadian Churches equipped with Bells to ring them 100 times this Sunday in respect for those who defended our country.
To ensure as many as possible can be present and take part, we plan to ring the bells twice on Sunday – as part of the 10:30 service and again at 5 pm to encompass the request the bells be rung at the going down of the sun.
At both services, individuals and family groups will be able to sign up and ring the bell to honour those they remember. We invite you to come at 10:30 or at 5 pm, or both!
They shall grow not old as we who are left grow old. Age shall not weary nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun, and in the morning. We will remember them.
